Wall Street Journal: Obama is recasting his call for change by speaking more directly to voters’ economic concerns as polls show him in a dead heat with Clinton.

New York Times takes a similar line, emphasizing his reaching out to blue-collar voters as he’s “seeking to absorb the lessons of his defeat in Pennsylvania.”

Obama aides say they’re no longer confident race will be resolved before June 3, afraid continued Clinton attacks could raise questions among supers about his general election strength.
