Carter: Hamas Would Conditionally Accept Peace

The former president says in Jerusalem speech that Hamas told him “they would accept a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders if approved by Palestinians … even though Hamas might disagree with some terms of the agreement.”

Carter held a series of meetings with Hamas leaders last week. Trip has received condemnation from the U.S., Israeli governments.

Plus: Obama criticized both Bush and B. Clinton Sunday saying they waited too long to make a big push to achieve Middle East peace.
