Rep. Davis Offers Abject Apology to Obama

“I offer my sincere apology to you and ask for your forgiveness,” Kentucky Rep. Geoff Davis writes to Obama.

McCain spokesman Brian Rogers: “Obviously these comments are unacceptable and Congressman Davis’ apology was the right thing to do.”

Obama spokesman Burton fired back against Davis’ original comments, calling them “outrageous,” “absurd” and “offensive.” Read his statement here.
