Thursday is viewed as the last chance to orchestrate a Michigan re-vote.

Wednesday, Pennsylvania's Rendell and New Jersey's Corzine write Michigan Gov. Granholm saying 10 donors are willing to privately pay up to $12 million to fund a primary re-vote. Read letter here.

Corzine himself is among the potential donors.

Obama camp responds: "This letter from some of Clinton's biggest campaign contributors eliminates any pretense that Clinton's efforts in Michigan are about anything other than an attempt to bankroll an election..." Full statement here.

Retort from the Clinton team: "The only thing stopping the Obama campaign's supporters from helping to finance a new vote is Barack Obama's insistence on disenfranchising voters in Michigan.” Read more.

Comes after Michigan legislators said Wednesday they are unwilling to back new vote.

Plus: Neutral Michigan Democrat says Obama's refusal to embrace a plan or propose an alternative is blocking a new primary in the legislature.
