NY Times: Spitzer Will Not Resign Tuesday

After spending the day considering his options, the embattled NY governor will make no announcement Tuesday.

His future plans remain unclear, as Lt. Governor Paterson prepares for a possible succession.

New York newspapers report Spitzer solicited high-priced prostitues at least seven or eight times over a period lasting six years or more.

Meanwhile, WNBC/Marist poll shows 70% of NYers want their governor to step down.
