Bush: Obama’s Iraq Comment “Interesting”

Takes issue with Obama’s Tuesday debate comment about Iraq at morning press conference.

Says of al-Qaeda establishing a base in Iraq, “That’s exactly what they’re trying to do.”

Suggests it’s premature for the debate to take place. “I believe Senator Obama better stay focused on his campaign with Senator Clinton.” Also notes the GOP nomination is not settled, either.

Plus: Repeats he thinks it’s unwise to meet with rival nation leaders, which Obama supports.
