ABC: Report looked at Oprah, Bill Clinton’s campaigning in California. Two more packages looked at McCain working to shore up conservative support, Romney fighting to stay in the race past Tuesday. Stephanopoulos said Huckabee continues to hurt Romney. Another package looked at the $107 million spent on campaign TV ads this cycle — 90 percent have been positive.


NBC: Lead report on UCLA Obama rally included Maria Shriver’s surprise endorsement. Also featured B. Clinton in black churches, H. Clinton saying Obama hasn’t endured a “baptism by fire.” GOP report looked at McCain and Romney’s campaigns, including frequent McCain claim that he’s “nervous” about Tuesday. John Harwood said the calendar may allow the GOP nominee to rest and raise money, while Democrats continue fighting.
