Source tells Chicago paper that the unnamed “political candidate” in the federal case against developer and longtime political fundraiser Tony Rezko refers to Obama.

Court documents say $10,000 allegedly obtained through a scam by Rezko and business associate was donated to Obama’s 2004 Ill. Senate bid.

Obama isn’t accused of wrongdoing, no evidence he knew contributions came from schemes.
