Obama suggests Clinton's international experience consists of teas with diplomats.

Response from Clinton backer Madeleine Albright: “Senator Clinton has been in refugee camps, clinics, orphanages, and villages all around the world, including places where tea is not the usual drink.”

Obama spokesman Gibbs says comment wasn't directed at Clinton, adds: "They're apparently drinking too much coffee over there."

Obama response: “Those folks must really be on edge."
