Edwards-Obama Duel Over Spending by 527 Groups
Edwards tells outside groups not to run TV ads supporting him.
Obama camp deeply, uhm, skeptical: "John Edwards can and should call on his former advisor to stop this effort."
Earlier: Obama personally slams Edwards' opposition to, and support from, outside groups. "You can't say yesterday you don't believe in them, and today you're having three quarters of a million dollars being spent for you.
Edwards replies: "Senator Obama’s attacks seem to increase as momentum for our campaign grows."
Edwards helped by former campaign manager, unions, and more.
Clinton backed by Emily's List, unions.
Politico: "The money is basically too good to turn down."
