CNN Acknowledges YouTube Questioner From Clinton Camp

Retired general who asked about gays, lesbians serving in the military at Wednesday debate is co-chair of Clinton's National Military Veterans group.

CNN statement: "We never would have used the general's question had we known that he was connected to any presidential candidate."

Report: General's question removed from debate rebroadcast.

Update: Clinton spokesman says he "is not a campaign employee and was not acting on behalf of the Clinton campaign."
